A 'Community Comeback' information event is being held in Kilconly for the first time this week.
The initiative, through the Muintir an Tíre Community Alert programme, aims to connect people in rural areas with vital services and supports.
On the day, information will be available from 30 organisations - including Gardaí, the HSE, the IFA, Road Safety Authority, Vision Ireland, Credit Unions, ALONE and Croí.
The event is free and will take place at Kilconly Community Centre on Friday from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
