Galway Bay fm newsroom - Concerns are being raised over the safety of the on-the-ground council staff in the Headford area.
Councillor Mary Hoade says there is not enough staff to carry out the likes of path works, road works and cleaning.
Two temporary positions had been offered, but the council is struggling to fill the non-permanent posts.
