Controversial Epstein float in Headford parade wasn't approved

A controversial Jeffrey Epstein float in yesterday's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Headford was not approved.

That's according to local Councillor and committee member Andrew Reddington, who says the float wasn't booked in.

He says by the time it was noticed, it was too late to attempt to stop it as it was in the middle of a long procession.

The float, labelled 'The Epstein Files', featured actors as Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, Stephen Hawking, and numerous women, all in various states of undress.

It's understood the float was also present in the Ballinrobe and Shrule Parades and has drawn a high number of complaints.

Councillor Andrew Reddington says it simply was not appropriate for any parade.
