Councillors pass €193.5m budget despite raising some funding concerns

Councillors have passed a €193.5m budget for 2025, while also raising concerns over a challenging funding year ahead.

It’s the largest ever budget for the area, and represents an increase of €20m on the year before.

It includes increases to road and transport funding, along with housing and environmental services.
