The Dáil has heard of the urgent need for immediate engagement with families affected by the now approved Galway Ring Road.
Raising the matter, Galway West Fianna Fail Fianna Fail Deputy John Connolly said 54 households have been left in limbo for more than a decade as to the fate of their homes.
He argued the focus now needs to be on pro-active engagement that's sympathetic and purposeful, but definite and direct.
