A decision could be imminent on the Galway City Ring Road project.
That's according to Galway West Fianna Fáil TD John Connolly, who says An Coimisiún Pleanála has updated the case file in recent days.
This, he says, indicates a decision has been made as was broadly expected around now, and notifications should follow shortly.
The controversial road was approved in 2021, but a legal challenge saw that quashed because the Goverment's latest environmental guidelines had not been taken into the account.
