Over 400 investors, business leaders and policymakers attended a major investment summit at Dexcom Stadium
The Summit, hosted by the Western Development Commission, saw the group make the case for the West of Ireland as the driver of economic growth.
A new report from the WDC, which set out an evidence base for continued investment in the region, was launched at the summit.
it showed that, Over 25 years, the Western Investment Fund has generated 10.8 billion euros in economy-wide revenue.
The WIF has also grown from an original state investment of 31.75 million to a fair value of 120 million.
