Galway had a disposable income of almost 29 thousand 800 euro per person in 2024.
That's 1.1 per cent below the national average, according to the CSO.
Dublin had the highest, at just under 34 thousand euro per person, followed by Limerick and Cork at 31 thousand.
Longford recorded the lowest disposable income per person at just over 23 thousand 700 euro.
The data also shows that 6% of all employed people work in Galway, the third highest in the country behind Cork and Dublin.
