A motorist has been arrested after being found to be driving the wrong way around Galway City Centre.
The driver also failed the roadside breath test.
Gardaí got the call alerting them to the driver at around 3:30 on Tuesday morning.
After being tested, the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
