3 of the 5 most backlogged test centers are located in Dublin, with Dungarvan in Waterford the only center outside the capital surpassing Clifden.
The next longest wait times in Galway are in Loughrea, with aspiring motorists facing wait times of up to 7 weeks.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Eileen Mannion is calling for a full time testing service in Clifden to meet demand.
