Driving test wait times in Clifden are currently the 5th highest in the country.
This is according to the latest data from the RSA, which estimates that learners will have to wait 17 weeks to be given a test date.
3 of the 5 most backlogged test centers are located in Dublin, with Dungarvan in Waterford the only center outside the capital surpassing Clifden.
The next longest wait times in Galway are in Loughrea, with aspiring motorists facing wait times of up to 7 weeks.

Local Fine Gael Councillor Eileen Mannion is calling for a full time testing service in Clifden to meet demand.
