Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services were drafted into the Spanish Arch area last evening after receiving reports that a person had entered the water.
Galway fire services and the Gardaí assisted in a search operation of Lough Corrib near the Spanish Arch area at approximately 6.20pm.
Gardaí say the search proved negative.
