Emergency services are at the scene of a road crash on the N59 between Galway City and Moycullen.
It's understood two vehicles were involved in the collision at Barna Road earlier this afternoon.
Traffic is down to a single lane, and motorists are advised to expect significant traffic delays.
It's not yet known if anyone was injured.
