Three people were taken to UHG following a road collision on the N59 between Galway City and Moycullen this afternoon.
It's understood two vehicles were involved in the collision at Barna Road at around half 2.
Traffic was reduced to a single lane and there were extensive traffic delays across the afternoon as a result.
Gardaí remain at the scene this evening.
