The ESB has pledged to undertake works to address ongoing power outages in North Galway.
That's according to Galway East TD Louis O' Hara, who's met with the semi-state body to discuss the issue.
He argues the number of outages is completely unacceptable, with some areas experiencing 20 incidents in a single year.
Areas worst affected include Dunmore, Glenamaddy and Clonberne.

Sinn Fein Deputy O' Hara says the ESB have confirmed they will carry out some immediate works.
