Galway Bay fm newsroom - A female pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a traffic incident at Briarhill.
The woman was hit by a car close to the traffic lights on the N6 outbound between the Briarhill Shopping Centre and the Coolagh roundabout at around 2.30pm.
Gardaí, ambulances and the fire service attended the scene.
The woman was taken to UHG with non-serious injuries.
