A free public talk on chronic fatigue syndrome is taking place in the city this weekend. (23/5)
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a long-term condition that can affect different parts of the body and is typically characterised by extreme tiredness.
It affects tens of thousands of people in Ireland, with a sharp increase in cases since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leading expert Dr. Amolak Bansal will address a free public information event at the Maldron Hotel, Sandy Road on Saturday at 6pm.
It's organised by the Irish ME/CFS Association and will include a Q&A session and refreshments.
