Fuel protestors are gathering across routes in Galway this morning for a major nationwide protest.
Vehicles are gatheringd in Tuam, Moycullen and Loughrea, and are expected to be arriving into the city at Lough Atalia around now.
In Portumna, a slow rolling protest has been underway over the Shannon crossing at Portumna bridge since 6.30am
Motorists are being warned of major disruption as protestors hit the roads for Dublin this morning, over rising fuel costs.
'The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices' group says thousands of trucks, buses and cars will eventually merge into one large convoy heading into O'Connell Street at around 11am.
