Fuel Protests will take place in Galway City and Portumna tomorrow morning as part of a larger national protest taking place around the country.
Organisers say they want the government to further reduce excise duty on fuel and remove carbon tax.
In Galway, Protesters are planning to meet up in Loughrea, Tuam and Moycullen before making their way in convoy to the city.
The protesters will meet at the Texaco Filling Station at Lough Atalia at 7am before making their way by means of walking to the oil terminal nearby.
A similar protest is planned for Portumna where a slow rolling protest will take place over the Shannon crossing at Portumna bridge from 6.30am with convoys coming from the surrounding areas
Nationally Convoys are set to depart from 6am and converge on several towns and cities across the country with a major protest planned for Dublin.
Gardaí have been notified of the planned routes and meeting points.
