Funding for Galway research into repurposing tyres for use in 3D printing

Just shy of €150,000 has been awarded to two postgraduate research projects at University of Galway.

Around half of that is going to Marina Rosca, who is partnering with Janssen Pharmaceutical, on a healthcare access project.

While the other half, around €70,000 is going toward Hadiseh Khorramaki, teaming up with Circol ELT, on a project to repurpose waste tire rubber for use in 3D printing.
