Galway County Council is being urged to provide a clear message on applying for Active Travel funding.

Councillor Andrew Reddington has raised concerns with the model, saying the criteria being established locally was different to what was proposed nationally.

The Fine Gael councillor feels there were mixed messages at play and some areas are being excluded from applying for active travel funding due to their location
