People in Galway have been reacting to the General Election situation, calling it a 'joke' and 'confusing'.

The Government parties have agreed to hold a general election before the end of the year, following months of speculation.

The coalition leaders met last night to confirm plans, and the Tánaiste has said it will either be the 29th of November or the 6th of December.

However, a firm date has not been set, and the Finance Bill needs to be passed first.
