Galway residents are revealed as the most confident cleaners in the country, with 73% saying they feel confident in how they clean their homes, according to Brillo’s Cleaning Culture Report.
The research reveals that while confidence is high, 93% of Galway adults still admit to panic cleaning before someone visits their home, showing how common last-minute tidying remains.
One in four (25%) put off their most avoided chore for at least a week, and when it comes to which tasks people avoid the most, it’s the more time-consuming jobs that tend to slip. Cleaning the oven (39%) tops the list, followed by behind appliances (34%), windows (31%), and skirting boards (27%).
