Galway Samaritans to host city event for new volunteers

Galway Samaritans are hosting an open meeting in the city next week for potential new volunteers. (20th of January)

The branch is the third oldest in Ireland, and will celebrate it's 50th anniversary this year.

The volunteer recruitment event takes place next Tuesday at 7.30pm, at the Galway Samaritan premises at Nuns' Island.

Deputy Director of publicity, Kristen Fossum, explains the different roles that are available.
