Galway has achieved the highest score in Ireland in a newly published international business report.
It's known as the Subnational Business Ready in Ireland Study, conducted by the World Bank's Regulatory Efficiency Unit.
It carried out a comparative assessment of the business environment in five Irish cities - Galway, Cork, Dublin, Limerick and Waterford.
Regulatory performance was benchmarked in five key areas - business entry, business location, utility services, dispute resolution, and business insolvency.
Galway Chamber says the finding reinforces our reputation as one of the most attractive locations for business, investment and entrepeneurship.
