Galway Sinn Féin's Easter Rising Commemorations are to get underway today (thurs april 2)
The full programme runs from this evening until Easter Monday across the city and county
A wreath laying will take place at John Higgins Grave in Kilbannon, Tuam at 5 this evening; at 5.30 at Thomas Collins' Grave, Cloughanover Graveyard, Headford; at 6pm at William Walsh Grave, Killursa Cemetery, Headford and at 6.30 at Louis D'Arcy's Grave at Carrigan Cemetery, Clydagh, Headford.
At 7pm Galway East TD Louis O'Hara will be the main speaker at the Commemoration in Donaghpatrick Cemetery, Caherlistrane.

Today's programme will conclude with a wreath laying at Joe Howley Statue in Oranmore
