Galway Sinn Fein are to host a cost of living meeting in the city next monday.
The party says many people across Galway are struggling to pay bills, keep homes heated, and put fuel in their cars.
The public meeting takes place at the Connacht Hotel on Monday at 7.30pm.
In attendance will be the party's Galway West by-election candidate Mark Lohan, Finance Spokesperson Pearse Doherty, and Galway West TD Mairead Farrell.
