Three Galway students have been awarded top prizes in this year's Texaco children's art competition.
In its 71st year, the Texaco art competition gives a platform to young artists to have their creativity recognised at a National level.
14 year old Aibhlinn Faulkiner from Coláiste Éinde in Salthill, won third prize for her work entitled ‘My Grandad’.
Íse Leonard, aged 11 from Áine Doherty Art School in Oughterard and Brian Cosgrave aged 10 from Carnaun National School in Athenry both received Special Merit Awards.
