Gardaí and RSA choose Loughrea for national launch of Easter road safety campaign

Longer evenings mean drivers must be extra vigilant for vulnerable road users.

Gardaí and the Road Safety Authority chose Loughrea for the national launch of their road safety campaign ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

Forty one people have died on the roads so far this year, eight of them over bank holiday weekends.
