Gardaí are investigating the discharge of a firearm at a home n Athenry.
The incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning in Cullairbaun estate.
Gardaí are also investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire to two cars at the same time which was approximately 12:25 am.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.

A technical examination of the scene has been conducted.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage are asked to make this footage available to Oranmore Gardaí.
