Gardaí are investigating house break-ins in Mervue and the Headford Road.
A house in Barry Avenue in Mervue was ransacked and a number of valuable items were taken last Tuesday between 7 and 8 in the evening.
Gardaí say local amenities would have been busy at the time and are appealing to motorists in the area to examine any dash cam footage and make it available.
They're also interested in speaking to the occupants of a black estate car which was seen in the vicinity at the time.
Three days later on Friday a house at Dun Na Coiribe on the Headford Road was burgled sometime between midnight and 12:30am.
Entry was gained via the front door but the intruder was disturbed by an occupant.
The intruder, who escaped on a bike, is described as a young male with a backpack.
Anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and who may have video footage including dash-cam is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
