Gardaí are investigating a break-in at McHales Machinery in Athenry over the weekend.
At approximately 4.40 on Saturday morning, 2 men gained access to the yard and building.
They forced the metal bars off a window and smashed it.
A number of rooms were disturbed.

A short time later at 5.20am Gardaí discovered a break-in at the Post Office in Clarinbridge.
The front door was damaged along with a window where entry was gained.
There was also damage caused to the internal door and the office was broken into.
Oranmore Gardaí are investigating both incidents and are seeking witnesses or to speak to anyone who have any information
