Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí are today making a fresh appeal for information following the death of a man at a house in Mervue at the weekend.
39-year-old Christoper McGrath died after being stabbed at a house on Cardinal Cushing Road in Mervue at around 4 o'clock on Sunday morning.
A man in his 60s, from the city, was arrested in connection with the incident - he was later released without charge from Mill Street station
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed an altercation between 12 midnight and 4am on Sunday to contact them at 091-538000
