The Pullman Restaurant at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate has been awarded its first Michelin Star
It was announced last evening at the Michelin Great Britain & Ireland Awards Ceremony held at the Dublin Convention Centre.
It was one of two Irish restaurant to receive a first Michelin star - alongside Dublin's 'Forest Avenue'.
There was also a special service award for St Francis Provisions, Kinsale in County Cork - but despite much speculation there was no 'three star' recognition for Ireland.
'The Pullman' restaurant is housed in original carriages from the Orient Express, which General Manager Ronan O'Halloran says is a pretty unique experience.
