The HSE is hosting a special stand in the city tomorrow to mark world continence week.

Urinary incontinence affects 1 in 3 women, and 1 in 10 men, and symptoms include frequent urination, urgent and stress incontinence, night-time urination or difficulty emptying the bladder.

A information stand with qualified healthcare staff will be available at the Galway Shopping Centre tomorrow from mid-day until 2pm.

As well as adults, information will also be available on incontinence and bladder and bowel difficulties in children.
