Independent City Councillor Mike Cubbard is to contest the upcoming General Election in Galway West.
The poll-topping city central candidate will look to gain one of the five seats in the constituency, without using election posters.
Mike Cubbard has been a city councillor since 2014, and has served as both Mayor and Deputy Mayor in the city during that time.
Councillor Cubbard has contested previous general elections in his bid to win a Dáil seat.
