Information day in Ballybane to encourage Traveller Community to vote

An information day to encourage members of the Traveller Community to use their vote in the Galway West by election is taking place next week.

It's a collaboration of Ireland's independent electoral commission and Galway Traveller Movement.

At the event, there will be a mock polling station complete with booth and a ballot box to illustrate the voting process.

It will take place on Tuesday the 14th of April from 11-1pm at the Foroige Youth Service Ballybane.
