The INMO says there are "chronic levels" of overcrowding in hospitals, particularly on the west coast.
Over 711 patients, including 23 children, are being treated on trolleys and in other inappropriate spaces today, according to latest figures.
Nearly 60 percent of those are in hospitals along the western seaboard - with 68 patients awaiting a bed at UHG.
