Just 7% of the newly graduated Gardaí are to be allocated to the North West region which covers Galway
Despite this the Garda Commissioner says he isn’t only focused on allocating Gardaí to Dublin.
Justin Kelly was speaking at Templemore, at the graduation of one hundred and sixty-seven new Gardaí.
Out of the one hundred and sixty-seven Gardaí graduating at Templemore today one hundred and four will go to the Dublin region, while the eastern region will get 31, 21 will be posted to the south and 11 to the north western region.
