The County Council does not expect the anaylsis works at Kinvara Pier to impact The Cuckoo Festival and Cruinniú na mBád.
Initial inspections have been carried out, with further investigations to take place in the coming weeks - to help determine the nature and scale of works that may be needed.
Heavy vehicle access to the pier will be restricted in the coming weeks, but a 5m setback restriction to all vehicles will not be implemented at this time.
However that position will be kept under review, and Independent Councillor Geraldine Donohue says more clarity and urgency is needed
