Kyne and Naughton: "Colleagues, not competitors" in Galway West

Newly returned Fine Gael TD for Galway West, Sean Kyne, has taken to the plinth at Leinster House this afternoon.

He was asked a number of questions - including if Minister Hildegarde Naughton is a now a competitor in the constituency ahead of a General Election in 2028 or 2029.

And both insisted they're very much colleagues.

And there was laughter when Sean Kyne was asked if his heart was really in it, given he announced his retirement to Galway Bay FM in 2024.
