The glaring lack of bus shelters at bus stops across Galway City is impossible to understand.
That was the opinion of Councillor Frank Fahy, after a few weeks of particularly heavy rain.
He argued it makes no sense to be spending millions on bus corridors and expanded services, yet expect people to stand out in the lashing rain.
Fine Gael Councillor Fahy told David Nevin every single stop should have a shelter if we expect people to use public transport.
