Supermarket retailer Lidl procured more than €42 million worth of goods and services from 40 suppliers and business partners across Galway last year
The goods were distributed to its 11 stores
The key Galway suppliers include long standing partner Galmere Fresh Foods, who secured a new €7 million supply deal with a wide range of soups, sauces, meal bowls, salads and dips.
At a national level, Lidl Ireland procured €1.4 billion worth of goods from the Irish agrifood sector last year - an increase of 13% on 2024
