A bus lane should be added as part of resurfacing works on the N83 to Claregalway.
Thats according to Oranmore Fianna Fail Councillor and by election candidate for Galway West, Cillian Keane.
He says that the €2.5 million works should also aim to ease congestion by placing a bus lane on the Tuam road from McHughs Pub into Galway City.
The road has been widened by 10 metres, which should be used for a bus corridor, Cllr keane says.

He believes it is essential that the extra lane is added to get people out of their cars.
