Local MEP says EU must prepare to ban Grok over sexualised images

The EU must be ready to ban Grok if the platform continues to host sexualised AI-generated images of women and children.

That's according to local MEP Nina Carberry, who says we urgently need to move beyond warnings and fines.

She adds that enforcement also takes far too long, with a recent case against X dragging on for years before a €120m fine was issued.

Fine Gael MEP Carberry says any platform that repeatedly breaks EU law should be suspended or banned.
