Two local MEPs have delivered chalk and cheese messages on the Bord Bia controversy at the EU Parliament.

It's as farmers continue to demand that Larry Murrin resign, after it was revealed his company imported a very small amount of Brazilian beef.

Fianna Fáil MEP for this region, Barry Cowen, said it's time for everyone involved to act responsibly and move forward.

But Independent Ireland MEP Ciaran Mullooly delivered a very different message.
