Three local Sinn Fein TDs are hitting out at the Government over it's late "no" to the Mercosur trade deal, which they say amounts to a "sellout" of farmers.
The party introduced a motion in the Dáil last night, calling on the Government to outline exactly what actions it had taken to prevent the deal from going ahead.
Roscommon/Galway Deputy Clare Kerrane argued Government should have been building alliances against Mercosur a long time ago - and not saying no at the last minute.
Her party colleage, Galway West TD Mairead Farrell, says the reality of Mercosur is very simple.
And Galway East Sinn Fein TD Louis O' Hara suggested the Government is still dodging key questions.
