Local TD and Junior Transport Minister calls on RSA to deal with long driving test wait times

Junior Transport Minister and Galway East TD Sean Canney is calling on the RSA to come up with a plan to deal with long waiting times for driving tests.

A 2019 report by the body found the average waiting time for a test was six weeks.

However, the current average waiting time for a driving test nationally is now 24.1 weeks, according to the Road Safety Authority.
