Galway East TD and Roads Minister Sean Canney is defending how the Government have handled the fuel protests so far.
Last night a 505 million euro package was announced to further cut the cost of diesel and petrol while giving targeted supports to farmers and hauliers.
The Government is to face a motion of no confidence from Sinn Féin over its handling of the situation.
