Loughrea will host a 24-hour biodiversity festival and 'bioblitz' from this evening (thurs may 21)
It's a community science event that'll take place on the shores of Loughrea Lake and the Fair Green from 7.30 this evening until 7.30 tomorrow evening.
It'll bring together ecologists, schoolchildren and members of the public for a range of events, including species counting, biodiversity walks, public talks and demonstrations.
