Man pronounced dead at UHG following city water rescue

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A man rescued from the water at Quincentennial Bridge yesterday has since died at UHG.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Quincentennial Bridge in the city shortly before 3pm.

The man, aged in his forties, was then brought to University Hospital Galway, where he was later pronounced dead.
