Medtronic has announced the launch of a new European Software Development Hub in Galway.
With it, will come almost 100 new jobs, described as being high value tech and engineering roles.
That number is then expected to grow in the coming years.
The new hub will focus on software for implantable cardiac devices, and will be operated under Medtronic's Patient Care Division.
